Impeached by the state legislature, yes, but most states have part-time legislatures with limits on how long a legislative session can last. There are special sessions, but whether a state legislature can call itself into session depends on the state.
Likewise, whether an official such the governor can be recalled depends on the state. Some states have the recall, and others do not. I don't know if Louisiana has it. |
