Some governors are Just Saying No to the stimulus package, mostly Republicans, mostly in the South where people will be hurting.

Including my governor, good ol' Bobby Jindal. *sigh* We're not really hurting yet, but we will be next year, with a huge projected budget shortfall. Jindal refused unemployment compensation money because it would require Louisiana to change its law, giving more people access to unemployment. He's more interested in being a spokesman for the Republican Party than being governor.

Gnarr... 300 million for federal cars means that people will be building those cars and making the parts for them - and getting paid to do it. How is that not a stimulus?
