Both computers are Macs, on the same Ethernet in different rooms of the house. The printer is located in a third room and connected to Ethernet there. The error code displays on the computer. The printer is just saying "sleeping". One computer is running OSX 10.4, the other is running OSX 10.5.

We also have pcs and a Unix box in the house, but haven't tried them on the printer yet; they are older and cranky.
